Lisa has been a professional dance music journalist for nearly a decade, dedicated to the advancement of dance music in all its forms and genres. Interviewing the biggest and the best for Dance Music Authority (DMA), the legendary global dance music magazine, she never missed a beat, and had become well known for her slick and hard-hitting writing style.
Growing up in Dallas, Lisa's love of dance music began humbly enough while hanging out with friends in the garage of a local DJ, where he would spin records to their delight.
A few years later came the opportunity of a lifetime for the journalism student... the opportunity to write for the premiere dance music publication in America, DMA, where she made her mark and did her part to help advance dance music.
Coming full circle, Lisa is eager to write and carry on with the ideals of DMA, while doing her part to share the passion she has for dance music with the rest of the world.
