About Me

It all started for Paul way back in 1992 & after attending his first Dance Planet rave in Birmingham he decided he wanted to be a DJ. He armed himself with a pair of decks & some Hardcore Rave & got to work. He used to hang out at Pure Records in Birmingham every weekend & started playing Jungle. By 1993 Paul was doing underground rave gigs & gigs down his local boozer on a Friday, Saturday & Sunday, playing Chart & Rnb for over 25's was a bit boring, so he used to spice it up a bit by playing a bit of Jungle towards the end of the night, the over 25's hated it, but his mates used to love it.Soon after Paul landed gigs for Pandemonium which was a jungle / drum & bass night at the institute (now the sanctaury) in Brum & also at Mr B's in Wolverhampton. That finished in 1996 and so he switched his attention's to the house scene. Got some demo's togeather & got a residency at the Que club in Birmingham for a promotion called Crest. This originally started life as a house night, but as speed garage was just about to blow then, the night changed, and things took off. Then in 1997/1998 Paul started playing various underground parties catering for speed garage scence, thrown in with some country manor parties which allowed him to play more funky & soulful UK & US house. In August 2004 Paul entered a Dj comp at the Legendery Miss Moneypenny's & managed to beat 15 other Dj's to Win & become the West Midlands Regional Finalist for Miss Moneypenny's / Movida Corona.Since then the Dj work has become more frequent for Paul & he has graced the likes of Miss Moneypenny's, Gods Kitchen, Fuel, Bushwackers, DV8, Rooty Fruity's, Sub Lounge & Bash Bar.
