I GOT AN ANGEL ON MY SHOULDER. R.I.P. PARITA!!!

About Me

The Afro Killer, p.k.a Michael Bharwani isn't just a rapper... he's a social commentator. Born in Brixton Hill, South London, the young Afro Killer experienced all of the evils of the social trap, "guns, drugs, and thugs" as he puts it. Finding it difficult to make sense of the struggles and strifes he and his friends faced on their various Housing Estates, Killer began to document his thoughts and feelings on paper through the medium of poetry. However, it wasn't until after meeting British Hip Hop pioneer Charlie Parker of the MOBO nominated group 57th Dynasty that the Afro Killer would learn the craft of an MC. Although busy touring with his own rap group, Charlie would take the time to mentor Killer over the phone, teaching him to to structure his poetry into song format, as well as schooling him on the inner workings of the music industry. It was at this time, the Afro Killer would make his first recordings, going through the traditional MC rite of passage by sounding like many popular MCs before eventually finding his own individual voice. After turning 16 and starting college, Killer began to branch out on his own doing shows, from grimey nightclubs, all the way to the prestigious Institute of Contemporary Arts, whose patrons include Madonna, and David Bowie. During his second year of college, Killer forged a partnership with Sluggs, a rapper with a similar outlook on life after exchanging rhymes on a platform at Clapham Junction train station. Recording under the name 'Sluggs-N-Killer (SNK)', the summer of 2004 was spent creating the group's untitled EP, spawning many potential hits including 'Club Thuggin' and 'African Drum'. However, increasingly conflicting schedules forced the group to disband and in 2005 The Afro Killer went on to form The Wolf Pack, now known as The Legal Fees Committee (LFC), a collective of rappers, producers and businessmen, after receiving some wise words from P.D.C's J-Soze on the prospects of UK Hip Hop artists in the global market. Killer has since been recording and touring with The LFC, opening up for artists including Jim Jones, Christina Milian and Young Jeezy. The Afro Killer is also currently undertaking a law degree in order to establish the artist management and legal guidance branch of The LFC which should be open for business in the coming years. The Afro Killer is an entrepreneur & is open to all business opportunities, so if you have a business venture or proposal that might be of interest to him contact him here or e-mail him at [email protected]
