"I love you because I love myself. I love myself because I love God!" He's more than just an on air personality at 93.9 WKYS, he is the King of the City. As the WKYS Street Team Director he does his job very well. Antonio is the only bilingual urban radio on-air personality in the Washington, DC area and he has capitalized on this distinction by bridging cultural gaps, maintaining a positive vibe, and reaching multicultural audiences whenever he hosts parties and events around the city. He believes strongly in strengthening bonds between both the Latino and African American communities we are more alike than different. Whether its rocking the mic during radio broadcasts and call-ins at advertisers& events or hosting dance clubs, Antonio vigorous voice, distinctive style, and charming personality has made him a favorite among listeners and popular promoters. Most people respond well to Antonio because he's a real, down to earth individual who is very congenial and approachable,I give everybody the respect they deserve Antonio stated. A known veteran of the radio industry, this New York native got his start in broadcasting by hosting his own radio show for his university radio station. Although, he majored in Psychology at Bowie State, Antonio newfound love for having his voice heard across the airwaves on his own show sealed the deal for him, I was blessed to feel the power of the mic when I was in college. Definitely one for giving back to the community, Antonio started a program with his fraternity brother of Phi Beta Sigma that sponsors a few schools in the area for students with perfect attendance. He also helps to feed the homeless, especially around Thanksgiving when people need to come together most to help out other individuals. When Antonio finds time for himself he hangs out with close friends, reads, and plays the latest games on X-Box and Playstation 2. Radio would definitely not be the same without Antonio and 93.9 WKYS has been fortunate enough to have him for the past six years and more to come. The thing I love most about my job is that I am able to go to schools and talk with the youth they actually pay attention and listen to what I have to say they appreciate your time.
