Raised in NW London and trained as a classical musician. Studied music in Newcastle Upon Tyne where he made his impression as a performing artist and a DJ. Played Bass Guitar and Keyboards in a variety of bands including session work for EMI and Sony signed bands.After making his reputation as a DJ under real name Phil Broome around the North East playing a variety of music Phil started to became better known for his skills as a house and garage DJ in the late 90s under the guise Phil England (name coined after a trip to DJ in France)Phil has played as a DJ all over the world including Spain, Italy, France, South Africa and even a season and guest spots in Ibiza and with many top DJ names, and was even invited to judge a DMC championship final in Durban, SAPhil’s productions have been played over the airwaves and in clubs by the likes of Sarah Maine, Jim Shaft Ryan, Tall Paul, on Kiss FM and Galaxy to name a few.With original productions signed to Big In Ibiza, Simply Recordings and Boom!Boxx and with remixes under his belt for 1980 and Universal Records, Phil is an up and coming producer to watch out for. Each mix is as surprising as the next as he applies a variety of styles and his vast and varied knowledge of music to his work.
