.... x- Scarset was created in Sept '06-xScarset is Alex - Vocals + commuting, former meltonian, now living in Rugby. Daz Hough - Guitars + beards, also of melton. Gav Kuzniar - Bass + dread locks + masses of leads, plugs, leds, and infinite things twiddle with and to stand on, also a meltonite. And Tom Griggs - Hitter of stuff + undisputed winner of the most un-METAL hair cut award aslo of melton town.

The premise of the band is to deliver music which is adrenaline filled, up tempo, and aggressive. Having instant appeal but with enough depth to give the music longevity. There is no formula as such, we do not intend to join the barrage of bands who are recycling the same songs over and over. There are elements to the music which do adhire to conventional metal styles, but the intention is to add enough innovative ideas to keep the songs sounding fresh. We're currently working on song 7 which we hope to complete within the next month. So if you come to see us, you will be one of the first to hear it as we keep our cards very close to our chest during writing. Listen out for it, it's fast, uncomprimising, and relentless it's likely to be a real monster!!

The current aim is to have enough material to perform at a number of gigs around the midlands doing a 100% original set either supporting bigger bands or fronting our own gigs.

Songs 1-3 inc. Callous Act, are obviousley our earlier endeavors which need some tidying up. But from song 4 (Scarred by Unknowing) onwards we feel as though we have found our sound and writing style.

The new songs follow the same path, with heavy riffs, stomping grooves, and ear piercing vocals but each new idea brings its' own flavour to the mix so our stuff will always be varied despite having our signature stamp.
