He's been there for quite some time without any medical treatment because the facility cannot afford to take care of him. He was due to be euthanized today. We've got him out.He was brought in by a kind hearted person who found Ringo. His foot was bound in barb-wire and someone had cut off all his toes, Yet he still loves all animals and people. His foot as you can see in these pictures is now purple and lost circulation. His leg is going to have to be removed.The medical portion is doing to be around $900.00 and we are trying to raise the money for it. Any and all donations are appreciated!!! Please please please help us raise the money for this baby. He's been so abused and it's time for him to have peace. $1.00-5.00-100.00 it's all the same. Anything and everything helps!!! He died on June 28, 2000; he was only 20 months old. He was and always will be the best dog son that we will ever own. Considering he was still young - he did his best to always please us. So of course since he did that, we would have to spoil our little one with what ever he wanted (well anything that would not hurt him or get him sick). He was a big momma's boy. Everyone thought it was funny and for his Daddy, he always had to show his tough side. He was the opposite of all the stories we heard about the APBT being so mean and vicious. That is why we loved him so much, because he was different, one of the family. Anyone that loves pets like we do, knows how we feel and felt the day he was taken from us. I still think that he is coming home to us, it was all just a nightmare, but it was not, it is real he is gone. We thank God that we have our memories and pictures of him doing what he did best, playing and sleeping. Animal was our little angel that was taken too soon and more people need to be aware, that this breed of dogs is truly special and deserve better than what they have been getting. This was our APBT (ANIMAL) standing proud.To Chuckie From the moment I met you we were best friends, You shared my life for two whole months, Why do good beginnings have such bad ends? You were always such an awesome mate, Golden eyes so happy and trusting, A dog if you knew you could never hate. Although you were only small, Your heart was so big and full of love, It made up for it all! You were such a big teddy bear, Always so funny and brave, Everywhere I went you were always near. Everyone that knew you loved you so much, But someone had a grudge, Because you might have got into their hutch, The coward come and took you in the night, Left a trail of blood, a collar and a few shells, Not even the guts to stand and fight.
