I'm working on that...the brutality I mean. I am a walking contradiction but not a talking one: I stay in the house for days being a homebody...just call me Howard without the fingernails and dirty hair...but once I am outside it is hard to get me home. I am like a caterpillar...a cocoon in the house..a butterfly in public. I am very friendly; I'll talk to anyone...I go on for hours. My poor brain is filled with useless facts; I know a little about a lot including languages... I am still waiting for that call from Alex Trebeck. I predict that I will come in second for that is one of my curses: I am a perfectionist who tries so hard that I make things difficult for myself and ultimately lose usually by one point. ONE POINT!!! I express myself best through writing. I am opinionated but NEVER mindlessly; I back up all my opinions with facts. I cannot tolerate people who speak from their ass except that guy in John Waters' Pink Flamingos. I do not accept cruelty to others. If only Utopia wasn't just a book... I constantly feel as if I don't belong with "normal" people but I am beginning to accept that. "Normal" people are just like white bread. I like sourdough. Mmm..sourdough...*drools*. I am not cliquish, never join teams (except when working on films)and that's only out of necessity. I am not trendy. I wear what I want, I look how I want. I don't even try that fake "Mother" look. I am very close with my son. He's 5 and we are like peas and carrots. I don't think I've laughed so much in my life as I have in the past 5 years. I look and act tough on the outside but I am just a sensitive gal on the inside. *shhhh; that's a secret* I am wild and crazy...that's what people say about me. People are so narrow-minded and stupid...thank god for the Darwin Awards. I just hear these things about me but frankly, I don't give a damn what other people think of me; you either like me or you don't...make your choice. My philosophy is "You are either part of the problem or part of the solution." Guess which one I am. I usually speak my mind whether it's PC or not. I am often called a bitch because I am opinionated, can back my opinion with hard cold facts & win almost any argument. I am sure there are other reasons like wearing a sari to weddings and starting politically provacative conversations at Baby Showers but not for being a demanding tag-whore. I want someone to treat me like a Princess but I'd like it freely given and not coerced. I'll never be a lap-dog..you'll see my big fat butt walking out the door before you see me kow-towing to a person I don't believe in. I'm actually a really a nice person once you get to know me...hahahahaha...( points to those who get that movie reference). I like helping people out...my sister Delia tells me that my compassion is killing me..literally. Yeah, I'm no fish slapper! I believe LOVE beats ALL the demons. Jesus told me so. I can be a really bad procrastinator at times. I don't know how to swim well but I like diving into the deep end of the pool. My favorite drink is ginger ale with los o' ice. I live in the world of all possibilities. I love acting like a child but thinking like an adult. I love acting like an adult but thinking like a child. Sometimes I feel like an alien. And I don't mean like from across the border. I've watched Monty Python's The Meaning of Life over and over and I still don't know what the meaning of life is. ..~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
