CHECK THESE QUOTES!!
See our blogs for more reviews!
One of the very few bands doing something that sounds different...falling somewhere in between Fugazi, The Flaming Lips and Dartz!
-The Music Magazine
Sprawling mini-rock-epics
-allmusic.com
Hailing from Chertsey in Surrey The Siegfried Sassoon sound is a sophisticated, jazz-pop hybrid; stunning AT-AT drum patterns intertwined with melodic and sporadic vocals. Their song-writing style is of the maximum number of hooks per square inch variety.
-Small Town America Records
The guys in The Siegfried Sassoon formed in Surrey and throw in scattered bits of eclectic influence to create their sound. They've got the Flaming Lips' quirkiness with radio sensiblity. the vocals are sweet, and the unpredictable tempo changes and Pinback-esque harmony additions add to the sound's diversity.
-The Riddler
Think Tortoise with a firecracker up its arse.
-Tasty Fanzine
A skewed slant on post-rock with songs that writhe and twist with many tempo changes and mutating sounds.
-Spill
