That’s THE statement...The statement (pause and all) that meant exactly what two boys grinding up beats and rhymes wanted to say.

“The Producer (Tone Beatz)” made beats that were musically in tune, very rarely sampled, and always super hot. His southern swagger was/is ever present in his work though his brilliant diversity gives his sound a unique and new feel that mesmerizes listeners and captivates them into his world. With a knack for finding that perfect blend of substance he stays trendsetting and complete. His production is from the heart inspired by life and living in reality which keeps it REAL.

“The MC (100 Proof)” - a man with a lot to say and roots in hip hop. This half of the duo brought to the studio his hunger for wisdom. He put into his lyrics principles, priorities, and discipline from an urban perspective with the rawness and reality of his environment and self. He put forth effort to keep his music and ideas real, realizing that greatness is an everyday battle to stay true to ones own reality while pushing forward.

The two meet thru a cousin of 100 and after one session together both were committed to the effort of being successful in the music industry, realizing the potential in each other and their natural chemistry, (thus the phrase “like Jordan and Pippen”) the team was set. The name of what started off as a two man team was easy to put together for the duo; Real (life & living) Muzak (beats & rhyme). In no time at all, their first project, the “100 Proof Mixtape” was born.

Real Muzak was off to a slow start when they were approached by then CEO of the record company formerly known as LockDown Familia (L.D.F.), Beans, after hearing a copy of the mixtape. 100 Proof and Tone Beatz soon joined the L.D.F. as artist and producer under the direction of Beans and other Co-CEO’s of the former LockDown Familia. However, due to differences in vision, Beans quietly resigned from his position as CEO of L.D.F.

While planning for the launch of his own label, Beans was approached by 100 Proof and Tone Beatz with an unrefusable offer to Co-Own and act as CEO of Real Muzak...

Enter “The Coach (CEO Beans)” The playmaker for the dynamic duo (the “Phil Jackson to the “Jordan and Pippen” team). Every good team needs a good coach and coaching staff. Beans combines his knowledge of the music industry, and superb leadership skills with his street smarts, laid back and mysterious personality, and powerful presence to make him an irrefutable choice as the CEO of Real Muzak. Beans’ mission is to keep Real Muzak as Real as can be, music and business alike.

Real Muzak was officially incorporated in Mahoning County Youngstown, Ohio as an entertainment, management, promotions, and production company on May 30, 2006 with Beans, 100 Proof, and Tone Beatz as Co-Owners. Real Muzak, Inc. specializes in artist and DJ management and promotions, event coordination and promotions, product promotions, and music production. Real Muzak Studios is located in Youngstown, Oh while its corporate office is located in Steubenville, Oh. Since Real Muzak, Inc.'s Founding Date, the Real Muzak Family has grown to include Chi City(artist), Lovely(Artist), DJ Stan The Man(Real Muzak, Inc.'s Official DJ), and Real Muzak E-Team consisting of Capone, Arthur Ward, Ronald Smith, Moe Bougard, and Chris Smith, E-Team Leader, Marita Carlock, the e team has composed a Real Muzak Online Network to promote Real Muzak across the internet. Looking to give other music lovers a chance to gain experience in the industry, Real Muzak, Inc. has taken on a group of interns from across the State of Ohio. Real Muzak, Inc. is also assembling a Real Muzak Dance Team to perform with artists during shows and a security team to assist with events, parties, and shows.

Since, its inception, Real Muzak, Inc. has constantly been on the go. Its desire to become a leader in the worlds of the underground and mainstream alike is constant motivation for Real Muzak, Inc. to continue its efforts in pioneering new ground in the entertainment industry. Recognition of these efforts were received through the nomination of Real Muzak, Inc. for Best Promotions Company at the 2007 Ohio Hip Hop Awards. Striving to break into the major entertainment markets, Real Muzak, Inc. has taken on the Ohio promotional campaign for Slip N Slide Records, the home of world famous recording artists such as Trick Daddy, Trina, Plies, Rick Ross and more.

Real Muzak, Inc. has presented and co-presented over 20 parties including Super Sexy Pajama Parties, Jordans Only Parties, Album and MixCD Release Parties, Fashion Shows, Grown & Sexy Events, and XXXtreme Halloween Events in several cities and have performed and been special guests at many more.

DJ Joey Fingaz & Big Heff's "Real Muzak Vol. " Mix CD hosted by 100 Proof was released in May 2007 featuring music by Real Muzak, Inc., Young Buck, MIMS, Jim Jones, and more. 100 Proof's "Swagger" MixCD Hosted by Tone Beatz featuring music by 100 Proof, Heavy W8, G Short, Young Felon/Grind Related, and R&B Artist Lovely was released in October 2007 and is to be hosted on DatPiff.com.

Artist 100 Proof(Youngstown, OH) is currently networking in the entertainment industry and working to break onto the scene with a distinguished swagger. "The Truth" was recognized when 100 Proof was nominated and received 2nd place for Best New Artist at the 2007 Ohio Hip Hop Awards. This achievement was celebrated in Youngstown's One Step to Life” newsletter and Valley24.com. 100 Proof was featured in Youngstown's up and coming music and entertainment magazine, Maynestream the Magazine, launched on November 30, 2007. He is also currently on a promotional campaign for the 2008 release of his first album, Thoroughbred. DJ Joey Fingaz & Big Heff's "Real Muzak Vol. 1" Mix CD hosted by 100 Proof was released in May 2007 featuring music by 100 Proof, Young Buck, MIMS, Jim Jones, and more. Recently released in October 2007, 100 Proof's "Swagger" MixCD Hosted by Tone Beatz featuring original music by 100 Proof with industry sounds and other underground artists. He is also featured on world renowned DJ Lazy K's "Get Used to the Future" Vol 3. All mentioned mixtapes are featured on DatPiff.com. A photograph of 100 Proof performing at the 2007 Aids Benefit Hip Hop Concert is also featured on Cleveland Scene Magazine’s CleveScene.com. 100 Proof has opened up for many major artists including Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Ray Cash, Jim Jones, Slim Thug, Spice One, and Dem Franchise Boys. He has performed in states ranging from Ohio and West Virginia to Georgia. Florida has been recently added to the list as 100 Proof was chosen to perform at the First Annual Slip N Slide Djs Unsigned Artist Showcase in Okeechobee.

Artist Chi City(Chicago, IL) is currently in the studio working on a new mixtape. His mixtapes Unfinished Business and Rap VS Hip Hop are currently featured on DatPiff.com and have achieved great success with combined listens of over 7,000 and spectacular ratings. Chi City has released over 6 underground mixtapes and has been featured on over 35+ collaboration tracks, including one with New York Based Grand Finaal, Dj Envy's artist. Chi City has been featured in local Chicago magazines such as Street Edition Magazine as well as listed as one of CiCi Santarelli's Top MP3 Picks in her April 08 Source Magazine Digital Dimepiece feature for his track "We Can Ride". He was also chosen along with 100 Proof to perform at Slip N Slide DJ's Unsigned Artist Showcase. Other than being an artist himself, Chi City is a also a recording engineer who has recorded over 50 artists. Taking his career into his own hands, Chi City has also started his own record label, O.M.O Entertainment along with a cousin of his. It's hard to stand out in a city full of stars., but instead of being intimidated by all the hype surrounding the Windy City's "overnight celebrities", Chi City is confident he has what it takes to shine with the best of them. Like his platinum Chi-town counterparts, Kanye West, Twista, and Common, 20 year-old rapper Chi City is destined to join his city's rap elite.

Artist Lovely(Canton, OH), known as Ohio's "Cierra", began her singing career in the church choir as so many super star song birds before her. Although music has always been a part of her life, Lovely did not start to make it a focus until the age of 14. At 16, she entered her first talent show and opened up avenues for her to explore forms of music other than gospel, including r&b and hip hop. By the time she graduated from high school, singing had become just a hobby until she caught the ear of Ohio producer, Jaymes Ball AKA 314. Lovely began featuring on other artists' projects, mostly "hook work". Feeling sure of herself, Lovely decided to enter into "Massillon Idol". Captivating performance after performance led her straight through the final round and into the winner's circle. Lovely then teamed up withDilligaf Records , a Canton Ohio record label. From there Lovely began her rise to stardom in Ohio, being featured on songs with well known Ohio artists includingGF, the Trackblazas, and Real Muzak artist 100 Proof and performing at Ohio's premier concert venues including the Metropolis Nightclub, Peabodys , and many more. Lovely is undeniably industry material from her strong vocals and lyrics composition skills to her choreographed dance moves and amazing looks. Understanding this has brought Lovely to a new plateau in her career. Now Real Muzak's "Princess of R&B Soul", Lovely is currently in the studio recording for her upcoming promotional campaign. She will also be hosting the upcoming Real Muzak Vol. 2 featuring muzak by Lovely herself, 100 Proof, Chi City, C.T.E./Def Jam's Blood Raw, and more. Expect plenty this year from America's next r&b sweetheart.

DJ Stan the Man is currently a DJ on Youngstown’s 1 Hip Hop and R&B radio station 101.9 JAMZ and has his own internet radio show "The Real Deal" 101.1. He was voted 2007 Best DJ by MixMatters.com and was the winner of the 2007 Battle of the DJ's Contest. DJ Stan the Man was also nominated for Best Club DJ at the 2007 Ohio Hip Hop Awards. He also hosts weekly parties at Boardman, Ohio’s Salty Grogs and Kent State University’s College Night. He is the CEO of his own company as well, Platinum Entertainment.

The Real Muzak Online Network consists of over 30 email accounts, 4 websites, and 20 Myspace accounts as well as accounts on DatPiff.com, StreetCred.com, PittRadio.com, BlogSpot.com, NowLive.com, ReverbNation.com, FaceBook.com, UnsignedUnderground.com, and many more. The Real Muzak E Team continues to do an excellent job of promoting and spreading the Real Muzak Movement across the internet. The Real Muzak E Team's Internet promotions have been requested by companies nationwide including Slip N Slide Records, The Source Magazine, ITW Marketing, and many more. Recently acquiring new mebers, the Real Muzak E Team has began taking on the job of blog writing for Real Muzak sites.
