Circle Line

"Each Morning Restless With A Song In Your Head"

About Me

Circle Line was formed back in October 2005 when Richard Warburton and ex-Dirty Paris (Jokers Wild) singer Daryl Bar joined forces to write alternative electronica in the war against middle of the road, cardigan wearing rock and pop, and an ever-growing lackluster dance music scene. Fusing electronica, dance, rock, punk and ambient styles, the guys are currently finishing off their debut album ”The Sphere Is Spherical”.
Following the massive success of their first two live gigs in both Essex and London at the start of 2007 more live appearances and show-cases are in the pipe line. Be sure to check back soon for details.

My Interests

Band Members: Richard Warburton, (right) The primary knob twiddling, fader sliding programmer, who sorts out what the keys ’n’ pads are up to, whilst making sure the beats are on it... 25 years old, devilishly handsome, about 5ft 11... a creative soul and a bit of a petrol head. (The Lovechild of Hugh Grant and Rupert Everett)!
Daryl Bar, (left) The voice. Ex Dirty Paris’ singer four years previously. Guitars, secondary keys and washboard player. If you see him at a gig you may buy him a double Vodka and lemonade (If you are lucky). ... severe aversion to Rum, but has the uncanny ability to ooze onto the dancefloor like a dirty pirate.

A Line Begins The Circle, Together this deadly, dangersome duo delve deep into the dark musical abyss of electronica, amalgamating sonic styles, and spinning their mental thread of wonderness that becomes... Circle Line.
Influences: A whole array of artists and collectives spreading virtually all genres, including The Chemical Brothers, Faithless, Lamb, Radiohead, Orbital, Hybrid, The Prodigy, Craig Armstrong, FC Kahuna, Massive Attack, Basement Jaxx, Nine Inch Nails, The Future Sound of London, Foo Fighters, Sneaker Pimps, Portishead, Kosheen, Beastie Boys and Underworld, as well as many different cultures, thoughts and processes...

Sounds Like: ... something you should be getting involved with on a strictly sexual basis!
Seriously, we would like to know what you think on this matter, so post your comments please. Thank you.
