W.M.P

W.M.P is a songwriting project by a music producer and a audio engineer. They are looking for artists and bands; signed and unsigned and record labels that need songs.This constellation started back in 1994. Returning to Sweden from USA Per Fröberg met Petter Kauttmann in his last high school year but it wasn't until 1994, long after they had finished high school they would start writing music together. In USA Per went to Greenfield and Chicopee Comp High School back in 85/86. Living in Massachusetts as an exchange student during that period of time influenced Per to start writing songs without being able to play any instrument. Back in Sweden he learned to play the guitar. Petter Kauttmann come from a family with a history of fine musicians, his profection is outstanding when they are in the studio to record.Between the years 1998 and 2001 Petter got an education in music production and Per got an Audio engineer diploma. Still writing together and several offers on the music market later they felt that they would focus on writing for other artists. The music business changed rapidly during these years and they felt that their writing was somehow doing the same. With a very wide spectrum of categories they write everything from rock to country music all depending on the mood they are in when they get together. Both Per and Petter got tired of the big city life of Stockholm, Petter moved away to the west cost when he started his family. Per joined him a couple of years later after he questioned why he should live a big city life when there is a whole world outside of Stockholm. Now some ten years later they booth live on the same small Island on the west cost and have a studio in witch they work whenever they feel like it and have the time.
