Tom McRae has released four albums since 2000. His eponymous debut was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize, as well as Q Award and A Brit. The Follow up, "Just Like Blood" was similarly critically well received. For "All Maps Welcome" Tom relocated to L.A and made a record in an Italian Villa in the hills of Silverlake. It was whilst living in L.A Tom started playing the Hotel Cafe venue in Hollywood. The Artists of the Hotel Cafe have toured the states for 3 years now, in 2006 Tom brought his friends to the UK and a new European tour is planned for Spring 2008. His fourth record "king of Cards" was released on V2, shortly before the label was swallowed by Universal.
Tom's music has featured in numerous television shows , including Six Feet Under, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, CSI and many others.
Tom divides his time between New York and London, when not on tour.
