Exquisite lingerie label, Ophelia Fancy is a venture embarked upon by two Brighton based ladies, Stevi Jelbart and Emma Sandham-King. After less than a year of working together they achieved the impressive Individual Designer Award for their Burlesque inspired collection shown at Swatch Alternative Fashion Week 2006. The collections are consistently extravagant and outlandish in design, expertly utilizing the finest silk, lace off-cuts and snippets of fabric. Their obsession for the unique ensures that no two pairs of undergarments will ever be exactly the same.
On offer is a wide range of styles spanning several eras including panache 1970s style shorty's to the highly controversial ballet-bum knickers reminiscent of 1920s Parisian theatre. In addition, they create complimentary nipple tassels and pasties, bondage sets, eye masks, hair fascinators, corsages, garters and corsets. As well as the unique range, they also produce a line that caters for lesser budgets with multiples of each design in various sizes, entitled Cheap Frills.
Presently Ophelia supply to a host of clients including underground performers, dancers and also several brides to be, whom have been delighted to commission bespoke wedding lingerie.
