In Sacrilege

The protagonist of this personal project is Yan, born near Toulouse (south of France). He discovered GOOD musicK in La Rochelle when he saw a video clip from The Cure at the end of 1982 and then listened to the Pornography album. And, that was the revelation, his life changed...
He was involved in several bands as a drummer in the 90's in La Rochelle. When he decided to go in Paris for studying and working, he lost his drums so he decided to plan a personal project.
That's only in January of 2003 that he decided to try to make music himself. A few months later, the first "demo", called "le mir(r)oir", was released. This demo was very ambient, very peaceful with some melancolic and darkness stuff as he listened a lot Raison D'Être, for example, at this moment...but he was disapointed by the sound quality of that (as you can hear...).
Since the end of 2004, Yan integrate the french Violet Stigmata band (one of the reference in dark/goth/electro/rock band style in France) as a drummer (at last !). But he decides to continue his own works with In Sacrilege...as he discovered other musical influences (essentially post-rock). The sound of that project, maybe, will be a mix of dark stuff with guitar's explosions but will keep a melancolic touch...
