The Tights

The Tights are one of the most bodacious original bands to come out of Philadelphia. Their volcanic alt-pop chick rock erupted from Philly's favorite garage girl threesome Mae Pang. Lots of buzz from the top music writers in the city, including The Inquirers Dan DeLuca, Daily News Sara Sherr and CityPapers music editor Patrick Rapa.The hauntingly cool title track Sweet Sunday is an explosion of of raging hooks and ravishing hormones! Its the first single from their soon-to-be-released CD Sweet Sunday.Bawdy singer/guitarist Lynette Byrnes fronts with a booming voice as bassist Christine Weiser's harmony and solos give it a sultry edge. Drumming phenom Elisa Chiusano spanks every song with lightning sticks and thunderous rhythms, and keyboardist John Byrnes complements the girls with big, thrusting sounds!Their dynamic live show includes a few special covers that are spun through the Tight web, like AC/DC's You Shook Me done in a totally unexpected way (on the CD). They've been performing in Philadelphia's best national rock venues like The North Star, The Trocadero, The Khyber, Tritone, The Fire, Doc Watsons and The Nail.
