DemonGene - #1 with the Tongue!

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a semi-pro bassist/singer (of 24 years experience!) based in the London area.
I'm proud to say that I'm a founding member of Europe's premiere (and the world's longest running) KISS Tribute Band 'Dressed To Kill' (www.dressedtokill.org.uk or see the link to 'Dressed To Kill' on MySpace in 'My Friends'). You will not find a better soundalike/lookalike KISS tribute in the world! Guaranteed. Don't even waste your time checking out any others....Over the last 17+ years we have been lucky enough to be invited to play all over the world and have visited almost every country in mainland Europe as well as Scandinavia and even Japan! We are the 'official choice of 'Gene Simmons' himself, having been PERSONALLY requested to appear on Series 1 (Episode 3) of 'Rock School' to play a private show for him and the schoolkids. 'Rock School' was a huge TV hit watched by MILLIONS across the world! We were also invited to be part of an episode of 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels' which is broadcasting now! We recently featured in an amazing 'visual installation' at the Meltdown Festival at the London South Bank centre with an estimated 200,000+ visitors viewing us! We've also had the privilege of playing alongside the following current/ex- KISS members: Peter Criss, Eric Singer, Bruce Kulick, Mark St John (R.I.P.) and have performed for Ace Frehley & ex-KISS Manager Bill Aucoin (and Gene Simmons - as mentioned above).
I also play bass in a brilliant London-based 'function Band' called 'The Party Seven'. If you need a versatile & funky band for your wedding/party/event etc don't hesitate to contact me! C'mon.... get down with your bad & funky self!!
On the side I play with (believe it or not!) the Madness Tribute Band 'Cairo East' as well as dep for other covers bands and play sessions.
For all the bass gear-heads out there I am proudly endorsed by Spector basses! I also play Wal, Pedulla, Jackson, Hamer, Fernandes & Fender basses through Tech21 Landmark 600 & Ampeg SVT Heads into Mesa Boogie Diesel cabinets with EV speakers. Hear me ROOAAAAARRRR!!!! ;o)
Character-wise I guess I'm pretty true to my starsign 'Taurus' (look it up!) and I love nothing more than spending time with my lady, eating good food, listening to good music and enjoying good lovin'! heh heh!
My turn on's include: Elegance, Class, Intelligence, Femininity, Innocence, Shyness, Natural Beauty, Talent, Exoticness, Bohemian Wildness, Long Hair, Shapely Bottoms, Slender Curves, Petiteness, Corsetry, Tartan Mini-Skirts, Big Boots, Fetish Clothing, good Erotica & Porn etc...
My turn off's include: Ladettes, Chavettes, Masculine Traits, Smoking, Drugs, Excessive Drinking, Arrogance, 'Attitude', Excessive Bling etc...
I like: 'Nimrod' by Sir Edward Elgar, 'Wichita Lineman' by Glen Campbell, 'Jerusalem' by Hubert Parry, Chopin Piano Concertos and music that sends a chill down your spine; the colours Black, Midnight Blue, Purple, Silver & White; Port, Red Wine, Cider and JD&Coke; Milk, Chocolate, Cookies, Muffins (both types! heh heh!), Steak, Roast, Tex Mex, Cajun, Italian, & pretty much all Asian foods.
Dislikes include Chav 'culture', organised religion, extremists & fundamentalists (and that includes Dubya and his cronies), jingoism & flag waving, macho posing, gratuitous violence, pretentiousness, pissheads/stoners who think they're funny (clue - you're BORING!), whinge pop/rock (Radiohead/Coldplay/Keane/Dido etc), most modern dance/rap/hip hop etc, Celeb culture and its proponents (HEAT magazine etc), Russell Brand - he's NOT funny AND he makes my SKIN CRAWL!!, Gonzo/Violent Porn and MUCH more... ;o)
