DeLorean, Knight Rider, KITT, Dodge Magnum, HEMI, Video Toaster, Harley Davidson, Electra-Glide, BTTF, Back To The Future
I would like to meet: Howard Stern, John Z. DeLorean, Jesse James.... I have been fortunate to meet some of my other heros already, like Henry Rollins, Tom Leykis, Elvira, The Barenaked Ladies, They Might Be Giants, Weird Al Yankovic and many others. I am also thankful for the times I was blessed with being one of the lucky few who got to hang out with the late great DIMEBAG DARRELL and our friend MEYHEM. We had some good times, and Meyhem was always a hero of mine. I always looked up to him....(as did enyone less than 6'5"). One day, I hope to be on someone else's "hope to meet" list.
My musical palette is wide, but I love smooth stuff like James Taylor, and older stuff like Neil Diamond, Tom Jones, and classic rocks idols like Neil Young, Zep, Pink and others. I also like modern stuff too, but prefer the 80's station on my Sirius radio. I grew up on all the classic metal bands and spent a lot of time with the guys in Pantera and all the bands that imitate them. I like almost everything. People are shocked to know what I am singing along to in my car.
Back To The Future, Blues Brothers, Pulp Fiction, Kingpin and others. I love the old Roger Corman stuff and some of the new style of horror that Rob Zombie is inspired by, Tarintino and others. I would have to say that I am bored with most everything hollywood puts out now, I am mostly just interested in documentarys now. If you can't learn something from watching it, then what's the point?
I don't have much time to watch TV. My TiVo records suff frm the Science Channel, History and Discovery channel, and PBS. Some of my favorite shows are Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, How It's Made, stuff like that. I love some of the reality shows like Survivor because of the human interaction element. If you can't learn from what you are watching you are wasting valuable time.
I am not much into reading books. I just don't have that sort of time on my hands. I heard a qoute from Warren Zevon who said that he wanted to read one good book before he died, because he discovered that in buying a book you are really just buying the time it takes to read it, and he never had the time before. I need to find the time.
Howard Stern, George Carlin, Sam Kinison, Frank Zappa, Tom Leykis and maybe a few others I can't think of right now....
