Craig Sasson loves to rock. No, he lives to rock and his dream is to make music and take his talent as far as possible. Teaming up with his band mates in Smoke - bass player “Jimmy P.†and vocalist Angel, the “Metal Nurse,†"14 Bullets" was born.
The bands sound is unique and well crafted. Unlike the balls-to-the-wall metal assault of “Smokeâ€, “14 Bullets†takes a more mature, diverse approach to the music. It absolutely rocks but instead of the previous grungy, vocal growl, “14 Bullets†presents a more musical approach with the vocal prowess of Angel. It’s all about ability and Angel pulls off the vocals with ferocity. She knows her range and she uses it well. Her emotional delivery fits each tune as she evokes a metal-like Amy Lee (Evanescence) ala Janis Joplin metal/blues tone. It’s sexy, it's sultry and it’s very good.
Supported by Sasson’s always-solid guitar playing, even the most hard-core rocker’s head will be banging. Sasson's menacing riffs add a perfect dark element to the music and compliment The Metal Nurse’s often-eerie vocals. Working with Jimmy P. to maintain the groove of “14 Bullets†is Anthony Realbuto on drums. This band has very real potential as they have excellent compositions with solid musicians playing them. That's a good recipe in the music business.
