Quick Mix Mike

I'm a Club DJ in Chicago. I've been DJ'n for over 17 years and am currently at Double Vision in Glendale Hts. on Friday & Saturday's. Musicwise I Do it all! Most Dj's just have one type of music that they spin or they're turntalbists, I can do it all. I can just get done DJ'n your wedding and go to a rave and be able move the masses. That's the only way to get paid. I can play everything. I mean there are exceptions... I do know some guys that do get paid for their style. That's where promoters and managers come in. I look to move my dancefloor no matter what type of crowd. I play for the crowd not myself. That's my job, not my hobby.

I'm one of the original Takes II Productions DJ's. I started my mixing in my Sophomore year in High School. Music back then was real, it had life, more vocals than today's sample made tracks. Parties were so full of energy, and the party goers were true. People went to dance, and not hold up the walls and look hard at other people. Not to knock today's party scene, cuz the Club scene is Hittin' harder than ever. As far as music preference I enjoy Alternative, but House & Hip-Hop will always be in my heart. I try not to listen to other DJ's so that I keep an open and fresh mind. My music is expressed from within, therefore don't sound like every other DJ out there. Keep an eye out for DJ "QMM" on flyers and listen to the radio, when you see it just come check me out. One of these days I'm gonna be BIG, and it's cuz your support. Spread the love! : )
