Philly-Caribbean Carnival Queen & Award Show 2008On Saturday June 7th 2008 the “Carnival X-PO Group†will produce their fifth annual “Caribbean Carnival Queen & Award Show†at PANGAEA located at 5915 Lancaster Ave. Philadelphia, PA. From 10PM – 2AM. and After Party from 2AM until.This year’s Queen contestant search will begin on Friday February 22nd and ends on Saturday May 3rd. During this time “Carnival X-PO Group†will be vigilant in their search for the best contestants to appear at a pre-show call “Pick-De-Contestants†on May 3rd. when seven (7) contestants will be picked to represent the business community, who will be the sponsors of each contestant.To be a contestant there are certain requirements that must be met, they are as follows;
Age: Between 21 and 40 years old
Height: 5ft 2inches and taller
Status: Married, single or divorce
Birthplace: Anywhere
Language: Must speak English
Music preference: Soca, Reggae & Hip Hop
Dancing ability: To dance to Soca & Reggae music
Availability: For rehearsals & promotional events
Appearances: In Swim wear, costume & eveningwear
Legal commitment: Signing a media release form
Representation: To rein for one year if crowned Carnival Queen“Carnival X-PO Group†is inviting ladies from anywhere, living anywhere to be a 2008 Philly-Caribbean Carnival Queen contestant.
