Right, the project involves myself, along with one or two others, collecting local bands and businesses together to build and promote a stronger music scene around Portsmouth and beyond. It also includes promotion for bands with myself contacting venues for gigs and sending off demos to record companies for consideration. There are already several known local bands involved but looking for many others who wish to get involved. I'm also seeking any local businesses, venues and individuals to help in any way they wish to. So if you know any then please feel free to forward them my way. A small degree of involvement is required from all those involved. But feel free to leave much of the promtional stuff to me.What I'm looking for are:Bands; preferrably with experience and demo recorded, but all are welcome.Contacts; such as printing, cd burning, recording, venues, other bands e.t.c.Venues; including a means of contact and person's name.... and anything else which may help the Portmouth Music Scene.
