The Sures

''2005-2008''

About Me

The Sures were a 5 piece indie band from Liverpool. They started in october 2005 and played in various venues throughout Liverpool and the Northwest. There finest hour was probably when they supported Northside at the Carling Academy in December 2006 being the only scouse band on the bill. They were always fighting an uphill battle as the Liverpool music scene just didnt have space for a band so heavily influenced by the 'madchester' era of the mid 90's with there main influences being Oasis and the stone roses. They didnt wear skinny jeans or fit the trend of most of the liverpool bands but they had a laugh along the way and met some decent people and bands. THIS SITE WILL NOW JUST BE KEPT GOING FOR PEOPLE TO LISTEN TO WHAT THE BAND WAS ALL ABOUT....RED STRIPE AND ROCK AND ROLL.
