The Presence

The Presence is a hard-hitting rock band hailing from the inner city suburbs of Sydney. Emerging in 2008, the line-up features vocalist/bassist Dave Lancaster, lead guitarist Julian Leuzzi, rhythm guitarist Riley Moore and drummer Simon Vandenberg. Early in 2007 the band completed a self-titled EP at Flashpoint Music (British India/The Wrights). The band completed recording their debut album in May 2008.

With their alternate yet accessible style of rock, support for the band is expanding with each live performance - as is their intensity and drive.

Some key influences include - Led Zeppelin, Muse, Nirvana, The Killers and Wolfmother. The Presence has pulled out the best rock elements from the decades but they’ve also kept a conscious effort in creating a sound that is distinct. One they can claim as their own.
