I love to dance! I love to go clubbing and dance the night away, sharing in the pounding bass of the music, the lyrics that can open your mind, and the movements that can pull and push energy through your body. I love Urban Tribal (alternative/goth/fusion) Belly Dance as well as Traditional Egyptian. I love it so much, I teach it, and have enjoyed doing that for many years. I love the movements in Yoga and Martial Arts and enjoy how they compliment my love of dance.I am interested in gaming of all kinds: board games (like Chess, Monopoly), card games (bridge, Canasta), role-playing and tabletop games (Dungeons & Dragons) together games (Truth or Dare, What’s-A-What?), etc!I am interested in unusual things and dark ideas such as vampires, blood-letting, tattoos, piercings, branding, cutting, and the un-pretties of life.I’m often looked at as a “tomboy†enjoying all sorts of sports and activities such as paintball, volleyball, softball, rugby, tennis, martial arts, swimming, etc.I study energy manipulation and continue to learn about controlling and developing that ability. I would like to learn manipulation techniques that others have learned and developed and would like to share in that knowledge.I love learning about people…how they work, why they think what they think, and the deeper side of life. I want to know what you ache for, dream of, desire, hope, and yearn for. I want to know what makes you press forward and what stops you in your tracks. I want to know what makes you happy and sad, what makes you shout out with joy, and what makes you cry out in despair. “Small talk†is fine, but it isn’t what interests me...I’m not interested in the weather unless it helps hide your tears or brightens your smile.
I would like to meet like-minded individuals who enjoy doing all sorts of activities and who like playing all types of games. I'm a night owl and love to dance and play into the wee hours of the night and would enjoy meeting other “party-animals†like me. I want to meet people who are into all sorts of games, as that is one of my favorite past time--whether it's board games, together games, cards, etc. I love them all! I enjoy getting to know people and learning how and why and what makes them “tickâ€.
I adore good music. (Country, Oldies, and Classical is not in my definition of good music..hehe). Industrial, alternative, gothic, dark, angst, rock, metal, techno, club...all delicious. Movies are getting better and better every year. I don’t think anything will top Lord Of The Rings for awhile. Some of my other favorites: Matrix, X-Men (and other comic-related movies such as Spiderman), Independence Day, I Spy, Lethal Weapon, and more.
Not much for television. Mostly because I don’t have time and I’d rather be out and about doing things. When I do find time to watch television, I like LOST, ER, Law & Order (all of them), House, and I used to watch Buffy and Angel.
I don’t like to read. Strange, I know. My mind is “too active†during reading. The only time I read is when I’m reading to someone and that usually involves children’s books! Hehe.
Who are my heroes/heroins? Good question. Many people are my “heroes†and “heroins†because of how they act and what they know about themselves. People who can be alone with themselves and like the company they keep in those empty moments. People who can look inside themselves and study themselves from the inside out and the outside in. People who know “the language†and can understand what that means.
