ENTROPIC ORDER ROCK LIKE CRAZY METAL BITCHES!!!
Entropic Order: The second reincarnation of Triggerfish (as in "triggerfishmusic"), via Pinstripe Aquatica. Formed of four school friends; founder members Sabri Al-Safi (vox n harmonica), Sam Maclean (lead guitar) and Alex Chadha (drums n piano), and latest (and jolliest) recruit Jon Parkins (rhythm guitar).
Initially the three original members recruited Loz Bell as rhythm guitar until it turned out that his priorities lay elsewhere (at the cinema/burger king apparently!). Temporarily, the gap was filled by skilled young bassist Rick Piper and was scheduled to play at a gig with the band (then under the name of Pinstripe Aquatica), but was delayed on the train and never turned up.
Eventually, Loz was quickly (and gladly) replaced by Kent Cheung, a talented axeman and friend of the band. However, after a short period Kent was forced to quit for medical reasons. After a fashion Sam Taylor was recruited as the rhythm guitar, but later quit as musical differences arose (i.e. Pinstripe Aquatica were not a Led Zeppelin cover band, and they never will be....and neither will Entropic Order, incase anyone was wondering!!!).
Never a band to give up that easy, the search for another guitar was mounted minutes after Sam Taylor's resignation! After a quick name-change, the Order's scrutinising eye fell upon friend and guitarist Jon Parkins. Jon has quickly picked up our repertoire and even added to it, writing most of the lyrics and music to 'King Of The Damned'. His drive and pleasant demeanour, not to mention his skill as a musician, has made Jon a pleasure to play with! Long may it continue!
Jon made his live debut at a charity gig at the Portsmouth Grammar School in aid of a breast cancer research charity, where, not only did he put on an awesome performance but also, at the end of the night (during Alex and Sam's outrageous drum/guitar solo trade-off), he proceeded to spray much of the crowd with foam from a can concealed within his trousers!
In August 2006 the band finally mustered enough cash to book studio time at The Old Blacksmiths. There we encountered Mr. Neil!!! THE SPLICE-MEISTER, THE REAL DEAL!!!! MR NEIL!!!! Mr Neil skillfully manipulated various tracks, ate his lunch from an ice cream tub, used an amp as a foot-rest and then (to really show off) put up with our antics for 8 hours at a time! We recorded the four tracks for our demo 'King Of The Damned' as well as three others (including 'Vote Me', and the notorious 'Lord Buckles') that may one day see the shiny light of myspace!
Any comments you gentle folk are cool enough to send our way, even though we may not reply to all of them, are greatly appreciated, so please feel free to say "bon jour" every now and then, and know that we love you....capiche?

Sabri Al-Safi
GASP!!! Sabri departs. After a sterling stint as our epic and delightful frontman (and co-founder), we wave a fond farewell to Sabri. He has other commitments to....fondle...and we part as firm friends. Alex will be taking over lead vocal duties, Jon will be providing backing vocals, and Sam will be grinning inanely as he jauntily shreds our gallbladders, livers, spleens, hearts and minds to high heaven. Some people have all the fun! In other news, EO will be heading back into the "studio" shortly to record all kinds of melodic and upsetting nonsense to which we have all become accustomed! Rumour has it (and I can say that because I know whether it's true or not...so I can dispell these malicious rumours if I choose), EO may be joined by a bassist before heading studio-ward. We'll keep you posted!
