MachoPsycho are Niklas "Nikey" Olovson and Robin Mortensen Lynch from Gothenburg, Sweden who together are exploding into mainstream music co-writing and co-producing Pink's 2006 first single Stupid Girls alongside multiplatinum hit maker, Billy Mann.They first met in 1992 -as part of Sweden's well-known funk band (Cane N Able) turned commercial rock band on BMG Sweden (Dunderhoney) garnering MTV spins and local radio attention. Disenchanted by their take on being recording artist, Lynch, a hardcore rock guitarist and chordsmith and Olovson, a bass player, guitarist and computer geek survived their lean years literally scoring Swedish porn movies and bartending. These two classic Swedish past-times served them well, as they honed their craft for years working together and mastering protools programming and songwriting. New York based management; Stealth Entertainment signed the duo to a management contract in 2004. Nick Bolton calls their talent, original, neck breaking invention without forgetting about songwriting hooks and musical commerciality. They are amazing with artists as they are the masters of bringing out and enhancing the artist's true unique sound.In 2001, MachoPsycho started creating tracks for underground US artists in Hip-Hop and simultaneously lending their unique flavor on the records of local Swedish artists in Gothenburg. Through Stealth Entertainment, MP starting getting access to spec remixes for artists like Jessica Simpson, Sting, Pink and others and ultimately they wound up landing a remix of Jessica Simpson's With You which went ..1. It was through that project that they came to New York to co-write and co-produce, A Little Love Can Start A Revolution for VH1's series, In Search Of The New Partridge Family. From that came an opportunity to work on the new Pink album.In 2005, Brooklyn's underground band Dirtie Blonde finished recording their entire album for Jive/Zomba Records US, entirely co-written and produced by MachoPsycho. The band, represented by Azoff Music, is looking to release their debut album in 2006.MachoPsycho are superb co-conspirators for top line writers and artists and their reckless style settles in perfectly creating a hybrid of Rock, Hip-Hop and Pop.
