Soon, the neighborhood knew his talent and invited him to play in Contrast club, with Jorjão Melodia, a party promoter at that time. Negro Rico played in a lot good clubs in São Paulo, as Blem Blem Club, Credit Card Music Hall, Olympia and others. In 1994, with his ex group called Caveiras do Rap, he released Romanticos e Polemicos LP, in the same year, he competed in a dj amateur championship and got the 2nd position, and the next year, he became champion! He was invited to be part of RZO, a famous Rap group and stayed with them for 3 years. In that time, Théo Werneck from the extinct tv program O+ considerate Negro Rico as the best Rap group dj in Brazil. Hes Helião e Negra Lis dj nowadays, one of best Rap group in Brazil and they showed beside of a lot of good names as Racionais Mcs, Thayde e Dj Hum, Born Jamericans, Black Company and Wu Tang Clan for more than 45 tousand people. In 2006, hes the best hip hop dj in Brazil, according with Prêmio Hutus, the biggest black music awards in Brazil.
