There's a chill in this late evening air. Pull your jacket tightly against your neck.
Wipe the frost from the windscreen.
Ignition.
Combustion.
The rich fuel mixture mingles with echoes as they roll down the street,
darkened, sleeping.
Your speed increases, the narrow band of light revealing pavement.
Its changing.
The reflection of street signs becomes the shadows of trees and then, in
submission, gives way to a barren desert night.
One hundred fifty miles of road to come.
You have your soundtrack.
Michael Bruce (guitar/vocals ) used his mastery of the reverb pedal and
feedback to welcoming effect with bay area superheros 187calm.
John Dunlap (bass), Corey Moore (drums) made up the hard hitting
rhythm section with former audio terrorists S.L.A.
With both bands breaking up in the same year, plans were laid to create
some new sounds together.
Here you have it.
