No RANDOM friend requests for the LOVE OF GOD. If I have no pre-existing relationship with you, I'm going to DENY your request for an add.No friend requests from MEN looking for a woman for a good time, or a bad time, or just a time. I am not looking for a man. I am happily married, and my husband is my ONE and ONLY. I stay sexy for HIM because that's the way he likes me.
I love the 70s and 80s. Love 70s rock and disco. Love 80s metal. And I love Def Leppard, Judas Priest, Motley Crue, Metallica, Beck, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, CCR, Audioslave, Sarah McLaughlin, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, DIO, Billy Idol, KISS, Scorpions, Tom Petty, Depeche Mode, Eurythmics, The Cars, Breaking Benjamin, Chris Isaac, Soundgarden, Rolling Stones (of course!), Santana, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Audioslave and I just discovered Tool. I also love Johnny Cash. Go figure.
Who has time to go to the movies? DVDs only. Netflix rocks! I love foreign films. There are so many good movies out there Americans have never heard of. Europa Europa, Cinema Paradiso, Malena, Amelie, and many, many more fine films that do not have the predictable Hollywood storyline. I also love American classics such It's a Wonderful Life, The Philadelphia Story, Casablanca, A Streetcar Named Desire. And there are also some fine American movies around like Pay it Forward, A Fish Called Wanda, Fearless, Memento, Toy Story, Star Wars (the first three)
The Office, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, The Sopranos. Anything reality, especially Hell's Kitchen. I'm in love with Chef Ramsey. He's so mean. Almost anything on HGTV because I am a domestic goddess who loves to cook.
Feminist Fantasies by Phyllis Schlafley, Who Stole Feminism? by Christina Hoff-Summers, and The Politically Incorrect Guide to Women, Sex and Feminism by Carrie L. Lucas. And anything by Mark Twain, John Steinbeck, John Irving, and Pat Conroy. Another favorite (or used to be) is (was) Anne Rice and Stephen King. I also love Peter Straub--what happened to him anyway?! Recently read books that I've enjoyed: The Footprints of God, Ahab's Wife, Spin Sisters, and Posterity.
Mr. Mecham, my 7th grade history teacher, Mark Twain, Albert Einstein, Jesus Christ, Sara O'Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, anyone whose life is dedicated to helping children, or even anyone who does everything they can to make a difference in the world, spread a little joy and generosity and kindness. Anyone who wants to make the world a better place.
