TOWARDS MEGIDDO!

About Me

Initally formed in 2000 or so - under the name Anubis - by bassist Eric Bryan and rhythm guitarist Brett Parmenter, Necroscope was based on nothing more than Metallica, Black Sabbath, and pre-teen dreams of musical domination. Brett's high school friend, Brian Bingham, eventually joined the fray and core of the band. Since the latest installment of the professional-level drumming of Chris Werly, the sound has become much more refined, with both personal and maturing tastes having their way with the band.
Between late-2006 and early-2007, Brian Bingham reluctantly left the band due to school and family issues. This resulted in Necroscope focusing its efforts and music with a power-trio mentality (a la Motorhead and High on Fire). Recently, with 2007's summer on the horizon and school about to be out for the year, Brian returned to the fold. The band, now back in full form, are ready to start making a name for themselves in the Southern California metal scene.
Bottom line? If like thrash, you'll love Necroscope. Now go wreck your neck.
