About Me

Mike Minehart is the name. I am very much into the Twin Cities music scene, and greatly enjoy going to lots of local concerts and shooting pictures of the bands at the show. It's basically what I hope to do with my life, working in the music industry as a rock photographer. It seems difficult and a long shot at best, but I love music and photography enough that I think I could make it happen.
I regularly post pictures from the shows that I have shot on my blog page, so check that out if you'd like.
Also, if you would like to hire me to shoot for one of your shows, please inquire. If anything, all of the bands I have shot for already could probably tell you why I would be a good hire, if not the pictures I have shot of them.

Being an avid photographer, I'd love to meet people already in the industry to get some advice and direction.
Billie Joe Armstrong, to see if he might remember me from the last Green Day show here in September 2005. (Considering what happened there, it's possible!)
And more local bands, of course. And not just as a random add, I would much rather go to a show than meet via MySpace. If you really want to get in touch with me, don't be afraid to send a message, I would greatly prefer that to a random add especially if I've never seen or heard of you or your band before. Not being rude or anything, it's just that I don't really have enough time to check out every single band out there.
