THERAPY was born in 1980 in Sants, a humble neighborhood in Barcelona. Since birth he was raised surrounded by art and music. In 1992 he started studying modern music (jazz) where, with his guitar he immediately showed skill in his interpretations as well as in his simple, yet rich compositions. In 1994 he formed the band “Smoking Red”, where with Albert Jornet (rhythmic guitar) wrote most of the songs. They got to perform with Ska bands such as “Discípulos de Otilia”, “Skalariak” and “Skatobeat” among others. The group dissolved in 1998 and Therapy joined the band “Libano Rojo”, that having their own tracks and Punk sound had some success playing in the KGB club with “Skatobeat”, “Manolo cabeza bolo”, etc. In 2001, Therapy felt the need to create non-stop, deciding to buy a computer and “trade in” his guitar for more avant-garde sounds. He started the group, “Rid 4” and tried to put together numerous common projects which all failed, until in 2003 he decided to give in to himself and go solo, working up to what he is today: a musician capable of creating melodies in perfect harmony, hypnotizing the crowd so they feel the sensations he transmits. The main objective in his sessions is seducing the audience with electronic elements, creating a vibration between sender and receiver; understanding music like a channel of expression to bring out the emotions of anyone willing to listen. Therapy is becoming a producer with high perspectives, both in stage music as well as club Drum ‘n Bass, Jungle, etc. Next to the talented and well-known Ma-Z, they created HOT MARACAS, a reference to what it’s like to make everyone who assists one of their sessions dance.THERAPY nace en 1980 en Sants, un humilde barrio de Barcelona y desde su nacimiento empieza a empaparse de lo que es la música y la pintura, gracias al entorno en el que se cría. En 1992 entra a estudiar música moderna (jazz), y con su guitarra empieza a destacar en sus interpretaciones como también en sus sencillas pero ricas composiciones. En 1994 funda un grupo llamado “Smoking Red”, en el que junto a Albert Jornet ( guitarrista rítmico ) crean la mayoría de las piezas. El grupo llegó a tocar con bandas de ska como “Discípulos de Otilia”, “Skalariak” y “Skatobeat” entre otros. En 1998 el grupo se disolvió y Therapy entró en la banda “Libano Rojo”, que gracias a sus temas propios y su buen punk tuvieron sus pequeños éxitos, tocando en el KGB con “Skatobeat”, “Manolo cabeza bolo”, etc. Therapy en el 2001 cayó en las garras de su ansiedad por crear y crear, decidiendo comprarse un ordenador y “cambiar” su guitarra por sonidos más vanguardistas. Compuso un grupo llamado “Rid 4” e intentó armar varios proyectos comunes, pero todos fracasaron, hasta que en 2003 decidió entregarse a sí mismo y evolucionar solo, trabajando sin descanso hasta llegar a lo que es ahora: un músico capaz de crear melodías en perfecta armonía y lograr hipnotizar al público para que perciba bien las sensaciones que este artista pretende transmitir. El objetivo principal de sus sesiones es seducir al público con elementos electrónicos, orgánicos y visuales, creando una vibración entre emisor y receptor, entendiendo la música como un canal de expresión para aflorar las emociones de todo aquel que esté dispuesto a percibirlas. Therapy se esta convirtiendo en un productor con grandes perspectivas, tanto en el mundo de la música para escenarios como para clubs de Drum ‘n Bass, Jungle, etc. Junto al talento de Ma-Z , crearon HOT MARACAS, un gran referente de lo que significa hacer bailar a todo aquel que asista a una de sus sesiones.
