My Interests

I'd like to meet:

This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor V2 I would love to meet some really interesting people, whom I have something in common with. People who are up for some good conversation, and more importantly people who can make me laugh until my tummy aches the next day.

Music:

This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor V2 Oh god, where to start... well, right now i love coldplay, the mellow thing gets me every time. Ani Difranco is great when you need to hear some angry woman music, I also love Biff Naked for the same reason. Vast... just gorgeous lush stuff....Motley Crue Elvis. Elvis Costello. Simon and Garfunkle (just plain old simon is good too "you can call me alllllllllll") Radiohead The Dresden Dolls make me laugh, so i can't help but love them. Abandonded pools, not just clone high anymore. CCR!!!!!! how can you not love CCR? And I have to say, i follow that up with a deep love of frank sinatra, and the beatles ( I got a record player for christmas, it makes me happy to be able to play my vinyl again). Death Cab For Cutie, fantastic, same with Snow Patrol. MANFRED MAN!!!!!!!! The Tragically Hip. The Postal service. The beach boys...And then there's the "other" stuff... Eric Whitacre.... i love him, he's a genius beyond anything..... favorites inclue sleep, ghost train, godzilla eats las vegas, OCTOBER!!!!!! Stephen Mellilo, check out escape from platos cave. Samuel Barber (love the medea suite....) The rite of spring, good ol stravinski, he's never let me down before. Symphonies of Gaia... though I can't remember for the life of me who wrote it......

Movies:

This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor V2 The princess bride ( a classic how can you not love it?) Run lola Run, Frailty, way down town, army of darkness (that my friends is one awesome movie night line up). Trainspotting, Moulan Rouge, Ghost Busters, Annie (shut up, it's a classic) The Shining (though I can rarely make it all the way through the movie... because i am THAT much of a wimp) Any muppett movie ever made, special favorites include The great Muppett Caper, Muppett Family Christmas, and naturally Muppett treasure Island. hedwig and the angry inch, Borstal Boy. Monty Python and the holy Grail. I have to bold facedly admit...... i am a fan of the ninja turtles movies..... my god... i am not deep at all am i??? I mean, has anyone even read this far in my profile??? If you have, go eat a cookie, or like, a slice of really decadent chocolate cake or something, god knows you deserve it...and then, leave me a message or something so that i feel cyber loved. I mean, doesn't everyone love the cyber warm fuzzies??? Anyways, i digress......Of course, being a girl, i cannot escape putting a few chick flicks on here, bridget jones (1&2) (she's creepily like me). Breakfast at tiffanies, what dreams may come (beautiful to look at). Dogma!!! Hook, i like that new peter pan that came out last year too, it was just so pretty Hmm, i enjoy most kevin smith movies come to think of it. GO, that was a gooder too..
