Halvfabrikat Records is an anarcho-crustpunk label from Torsås, Sweden. Founded in 1999 out of TPN tapes, for the sole purpose of releasing the Revolution EP by BESK. However, it did not end there. The urge to release more records with relevance drove us to continue down this path.
Over the years of existence we have released material with acts such as Totalt Jävla Mörker, Human Waste, Anatomi-71, Personkrets 3:1 and Protestera.
The young, dumb and punk
- From the beginning there has always been an uphill struggle. We started out as a webring in the beginning of 1998, as a collective effort to gather giginfo on one site. Suddenly we found ourself writing a punk newsletter, not aiming for anything specific but to have fun. The project was known as The Punknest. One of the members of this secluded gathering asked us if we shouldn't release compilation tapes instead of doing this newsletter, and once again we changed the name, this time around to TPN tapes (short for The Punknest tapes).
