About Me

deshun's intrigue with photography honestly began at 5 years of age while looking through family photo albums. he noticed how some images appeared "crisper...sharper" than others and began to study the art form. though he never abandoned his passion, school began and photography was quickly pushed to the side. his love would not be revisited until his undergraduate career. upon completion of his bachelor's degree in early childhood education, deshun decided to venture back into his artistic endeavors. while applying for graduate school he was also in the process of establishing himself as a photographer in the nashville area. after two years of shooting professionally he has completed his master's degree, secured a position as lead photographer for a national monthly publication, and has acquired a 2000 sq ft studio in nashville's historic art district.
