About Me

Slade's story begins at age 12 when he bought his first cassette containing the tracks "Electric Kingdom" and "Egypt Egypt." Hooked at an early age, it was Slade's destiny to travel the wheels of steel as a capable tour guide through the world of electronic music. After playing his first house party in 1986, Slade was on the pathway to success. A weekly dance show on WVUA 90.7 Tuscaloosa and his first paying residency at Post 37 aka The Sidetrack in Tuscaloosa soon followed. Impressing crowds with his special blend of House, Progressive, Electro, and Breakbeat, Slade started playing for crowds all over Alabama, Mississippi, Florida and Louisiana. Now affiliated with the highly respected Harmony crew of Birmingham, Alabama, Slade took off on his own promoting shows to much success in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham under the ever-recognizable Martini 205 moniker. Not only did he promote his own shows, but he did this while holding down a residency at Michael's in Tuscaloosa. Slade has made his mark not only on the dancefloor end of the nightclub business in the southeast, but he has been lead design consultant for several clubs that are open in Alabama as well. Slade is not only a DJ that can destroy any dancefloor, but a highly respected technical mind as well. Slade has been at the forefront of the Southeast dance scene for quite some time. Now he's ready to unleash his talents upon the world. Give him a listen and see where dance music has been, as well as where it's destined to go.Slade has currently played support for the following:Aphrodite, DJ Rap, and Evol Intent 11,000 Layouts! @ HOT FreeLayouts.com ..
