Krilf Øderberg is an icelandic composer living and working in his chosen twin-exile of Bochum and Gelsenkirchen, NRW, Germany. He’s already been the drummer in a traditional jazz band in his youth, quite a legendary indie DJ in his hometown of Snergrotakerkvik in the 80s, then changed his musical direction completely at the start of the 90s, probably after popping his first white dove one night while spinning acid house in an indie club cum balearic cave in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Apart from exploring the regions between darker house music and not so minimal techno, he’s also one third of the more than successful dark wave/electropop combo Rotersand, another third of the soon-to-be-famous jazz/house freestyle heads Homewreckers and – least we forget – one helluva damn fine DJ!
