About Me

"You've got alot of choices. If getting out of bed in the morning is a chore and you're not smiling on a regular basis, try another choice." - Steven M. Woodhull
Big News Alert ... I'm Wisconsin bound! June 12th marks my first day of work as a Traffic Manager at Jacobson Rost in Sheboygan, WI. They flew me out for an interview and I fell in love with the agency. Their location is only blocks from Lake Michigan, they have some large national accounts (Carl Budding, First Alert, Sargento Cheese, Miller Lite), and the offer package was one you couldn't pass up.
Leaving Redstone was a very hard decision. The past year has offered opportunities that I never could imagined doing, plus I love my co-workers and vendor contacts. Unforunately things have been hard on Jon with regard to finding a teaching position, so we made the decision to move somewhere where the opportunity would be more open. Who would have thought it would only take two weeks after making the decision though to find what I would have to consider a great opportunity?
The kids are taking it rather well. I'm going out ahead and the movers will pack up the rest of the family at the end of June. This at least will offer a good solid month to "hang with friends."
On the personal side.... my favorite drink is the Nutty Squirrel at Crane Coffee. I love salad bars. I'm my most happiest when I'm behind the camera. I'm a glass half full kind of gal. I love to watch scary movies but only during the day. In turn, I love to watch sad chick flicks because I enjoy a good cry. I love to dance. I'm anally organized. I think outside the box. I've always wanted a VW Bug. I never kissed my first love, which is sad because I LOVE to kiss. I love to be in love. I'm a liberal. I hate catsup!!!! and most importantly I believe your life is determined by your actions.
I'm also married to a wonderful man and I have three great kids. I could never imagine myself not being a mom. It's a hard job but it really has it's rewards. There's nothing like a big kiss at the end of the day to make any crappy thing that happened early in the day seem less crappy.
