Born in San Diego California and transplanted to Nebraska at age 6, Renee' Ledesma Hoover has been part of the Omaha Music and Art community for over 10 years. Renee' draws from her love of folk art and all things hand made coupled with her Mexican heritage. She has had numerous solo shows around Omaha over the last decade and been part of many prestigious group shows, such as the annual Bemis Center for Contemperary Arts auction. Joslyn museum Christmas auction, O! public arts project, part of the permanent dia de los muertos collection at El Museo Latino and winner of a 2008 OEA Award for Best 3-D artist.
