I'm currently attending Bellevue University for Graphic Design, Web Design and Photography. I graduated from UNO in 1994 with a degree in Art History. Between these times I was married for nearly five years, separated in 1999, and got divorced in 2003. I have a son who lives with me part time.I enjoy watching the performing arts. I've really enjoyed the works created by Michael Flatley. I also really liked the musicals Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, and City of Angels. I've come to appreciate the movement in dance programs. I'd love to be able to photograph that kind of stuff as a career.With my photography I'd eventually like to be doing portraits, senior pics, glamour and figure work as my source of income. I've had the opportunity to do some work with models. Some of that work can be seen in my picture section. I'd like to meet more people and models who would be willing to be photographed by me.In the past I marched Drum Corps for three years. Two years with the Railmen, from Omaha NE, and one season with the Madison Scouts, from Madison WI. I got involved with that after doing Color Guard in marching band in high school. I also performed for three years with the UNO band.I've had the opportunity to travel abroad to a few places. I've spent time visiting London, Paris, Rome, Switzerland and Germany. I also got to see Ireland when I went to visit my sister who studied there for a year.On a more personal note. You'll find that sometimes I can be a quiet person. I'm not as shut off from people as I used to be though. I think going back to school has helped me to not hide inside myself as much anymore. I think of myself as a hard worker. I also think that I'm a loyal friend to those who I get to know and who get to know me. It could also be said that for the most part I'm a romantic. When I'm with someone I enjoy the more tender moments. I'd like to find my hidden wild side. It would be good to get that out. With the right person I'm sure it would come out.I'm also a big fan of books. I collect and read all kinds of books. I enjoy mostly the art and photography books. I've got many shelves throughout the house filled with books. Right now the most inspirational person to me in my son. He had to deal with Chemo at the age of 3 and legal blindness. He hasn't let that get him down. He accepts it as that is who he is. I wouldn't give him up for the world.
