About Me

Graeme is a freelance bassist who's currently involved with JUNK (original music-see friends), Deep Joy (70s 80s 90s covers on the beautiful Isle of Arran), Jerusalem Harpoon (prog covers band) and on occassion Big Vern 'n' the Shootahs (www.bigvern.org), The Usual Suspects and NightShift (www.bigniteout.co.uk).
Live and in the studio he currently plays a 5-string Warwick Streamer Jazzman bass through a Hartke amphead, Behringer D1600-P D.I. box, and 4x10 Hartke transporter cab, and with his POD gear he can dial up almost any sound imaginable. Over the years he's contributed to the music of various bands:- Disciples of D.C, The DreamWeavers, Randy Savage and the Ninja Rabbits, OneVision, A Glasgow Kiss, Tasty, Planet8 and more recently the bands mentioned above.
He's been influenced by many different musicians and bands such as Dream Theater, Rush, Led Zep, Marillion, Yes, It Bites/Francis Dunnery, Porcupine Tree, Queen & KingsX to name a few but also listens to lots of different stuff (Tribal Tech, Weather Report, Beatles, Queensryche, Van Halen, Police etc etc).
