Bass, music & a life to be lived!

About Me

I started playing bass in the 1980's --beginning with local Perth, WA bands including Infa Red & Inquisition evolving into a group called "Allegiance" throughout the 90's until 1997 when they split plus a few later reunion shows and "Black Steel" from 2000 till now.
I have played a zillion gigs & opened and toured the country nationally for tons of major bands as they came through Perth, some of these have included KISS, DEEP PURPLE, ZAKK WYLDE, PANTERA, SLAYER, JUDAS PRIEST, BEASTIE BOYS, ROLLINS, SEPULTURA, FEAR FACTORY and the list goes on..
Allegiance recorded 3 albums "Destitution" which carted 1 on the ARIA charts and the follow up "Skinman" which charted 11 and a live album "Time to React - Live!!" After Allegiance split I was on my own & started Black Steel more along traditional metal lines. Our 1st EP "Battle Call" was released and from there, the full length "Destructor" followed by the "Relentless Force" EP and "Hellhammer" full length album. Black Steel have recorded a number of tracks for tribute albums including the AC/DC "Hometown Tribute", "A Tribute To The Glory Of 80's Metal" and "The Art Of Shredding" -Dimebag Darrel Tribute.
There's more---to be continued/elaborated upon/& further explained. I play bass. I'm still learning. I live for music. I've done over 1000's of shows & made a few records. I consider myself a very lucky guy & am very greatful to the MANY people who make it possible and the friends I've made along the way..
