Band Members: Justin Christ
- Franki met Justin a few years back when he played for this incredible band called Fooligan with my buddy Adam2Cool... after doing an episode of Franki Doll's Toybox, we discussed him playing with the Toys but it didn't work out at the time, a few months later Justin came to a live show and after seeing the performance he called up the next day and said, "Franki - I HAVE to play with you" - Franki responded with - "It's about time!" We've been playing together ever since.
Jenson Avery
Franki met Jenson a few years back after hiring him to play drums on a few songs. "He was the most natural drummer I ever heard, even after hearing the song halfway through one time, he said "Ok, just play it, I got it". And he laid down the drums with the second take. Franki looked at her producer and he said, "There's YOUR drummer right there". Franki offered him a spot in the band and he immediately accepted. It's been a beautiful relationship since then.
Brandon Debauchery
- Well what can I say about Brandon. Franki actually met Brandon at Johnny's Punk Rock Saloon. Couldn't understand a word he was saying - he talked too quiet and slurred that night... lol. I actually thought he was a stuck up asshole - he was just shy. We started talking on Myspace after we lost Kevin... I was heartbroken and didn't think we could ever find someone to replace him - but Lo and behold, Brandon was in between bands at the moment - so I talked to Jenson and we decided to invite him to come try out. We spent the weekend writing at a getaway out of town with him, and a new chapter of the Toys was born.
Greg Dessert
- Franki has known Greg for quite some time now. He worked at one of the venues we play quite often. Never even knew he was a guitar player. Just thought he was the cool guy at the door. He heard we were looking for a guitar player and called Brandon and said "Pick me! Pick Me!" lol We were all sitting around the house discussing potential guitar players when Brandon mentioned it - I have always LOVED Greg, so immediately I called him on the phone and said... come over now! One practice and it was clear - he was our guy... he brought new music direction to our band and I wouldn't trade him... for nuttin.
