Oh, the possibilities!

My Interests

Music:

Classical guitar, Jazz, Ottmar Liebert, Django Reinhardt, Bluegrass, KD Lang, the Blues, Norah Jones, Allison Kraus, Classical music, Flamenco and other Latin music, John Lee Hooker, Ricki Lee Jones, Van Morrison, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Lyle Lovett, Sidney Bechet, Jack Johnson...good grief! I like so much, I couldn't possibly narrow it down or name it all here!

Movies:

A few that I really loved: Leaving Normal, L.A. Confidential, Persuasion, The Wizard of Oz, Winged Migration. Sideways. The Illusionist. I have always enjoyed movies of all kinds.

Television:

Don't watch all that much these days. I like PBS and the Discovery Channel from time to time. I really miss NOW with Bill Moyers. Truly GREAT journalism.

Books:

Always reading something. Currently: The Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle and an excerpt from Loving What Is, by Byron Katie. I'm in a self reflective mood and wanting to grow into a better person. And there are others - I've always got several books going at once.

Heroes:

My grandfather. He was fun and loving, and he passed along values that help me every day. My time with him gave me the best memories of my childhood. Even after all these 9 years since he passed on, I really miss him.
