About Me

This is my Bio...Johnny V is a tried and tested talent who has made a definite impact on the Southern California club and party scene. Having been a music buyer at one of the premiere record shops in Los Angeles for over two years, Johnny has a broad knowledge of dance music. His eclectic tastes contribute to his diverse style, spinning multiple genres including Drum & Bass, Breaks, and Old-Skool. No matter which genre he is called upon to play, Johnny's sets are aimed for the dance floor, and his high energy blend of tracks are meant to get your feet moving and your ass shaking! One of the main forces behind Magnetik Space Lab, Johnny plays an integral part in the event production and promotion of Magnetik Space Lab events. Believing that clean sound is an absolute necessity, Johnny has compiled an impressive soundsystem that is used at all MSL events, and is in high demand by promoters seeking quality sound. Johnny's talent behind the decks has not gone unnoticed as he has been called to play alongside world class talent such as Nicky Blackmarket, Aphrodite, Adam F, D Bridge, and J Majik to name a few. Going beyond drum & bass, Johnny has helped to start up Splice, a successful new monthly in Chinatown that showcases top notch Breakbeat artists, with him and partner Kemizt holding down residencies. With all these accomplishments under his belt, Johnny still strives to push the limits while keeping true to his roots.Johnny V : MSL / Grapevinez / Splice / Drumz / Creative Kasualties..
