Aptly named HISTORY because it is held annually on a day steeped in history: Columbus Day (Weekend) This event single handedly paved the way for large scale Drum and Bass events to be welcomed into some of Americas most famous venues. History was created to unite together different crews that have represented the Drum and Bass movement worldwide. It is classified as “America’s Largest Drum and Bass Event” by hosting over 50 artists in 6 rooms of Drum and Bass, with each room playing a different variation of the genre while paying homage to other successful, long-standing promoters within the Drum and Bass scene. The main room hosted artists from the UK while the remaining rooms host a variety of artists from not only California but also the world. Grapevinez has proudly presented 3 History events. History is our flagship event.

GRAPEVINEZ teamed up with North America’s 2nd largest music live concert promoter HOUSE OF BLUES CONCERTS to produce the first Champion Soundz event. With the HOUSE OF BLUES brand behind us Grapevinez undertook all aspects of the event, from concept to completion and produced a landmark event for the genre. From the success of our first Champion Soundz, the managing director of the Avalon approached us to host this event brand at their venue. Once again Grapevinez single handedly operated all aspects of the event, which turned out to be a great success, leading Avalon to recall Grapevinez to host another Champion Soundz 9 months later.

In the Summer of 2004 a group of artists from the San Fernando Valley came together host an event that would represent the SFV Drum and Bass movement. In keeping true to the cause the team consisting of DJ's: CONCISE, JO-S, FRAYED KNOT, AWARE, JOSH MAYHEM and MC's BYPASS & MCMC, decided to name the event after the SFV area telephone code (818). The event was held on Saturday 7/17/04 and packed the Venue: The Little Rock, Tarzana. This event also sparked off the Grapevinez organization and has paved the way for Grapevinez to host 9 more (818) events to date.

The Grapevinez Street team is well recognized throughout So Cal and grows with every event we hold. The team distributes to hundreds of retail outlets Nationwide and provides a service that can be found at various types of locations and events in California even Nationwide. Grapevinez street teams can be found handing out goodie bags at locations such as County Fairs, Colleges, Festivals, Carnivals and Concerts, Beaches and other hot spots.
