Odd Arnie was officially founded in February, 2001 by its founding members Kris, Ryan, Brett, and Patrick(now of View of A Burning City). After two shows horn players, Andrew and Twilley were added. Shortly another horn player, Ben was added, who soon quit. Later in the year, Patrick quit the band to persue other options. The five members stayed together playing venues in Lafayette, New Orleans, Alexandria, Lake Charles, etc. In December, 2002, Kyle joined the band and added the smooth sound of a tenor sax.
