GET YOUR OWN GUBNA SHIRT TODAY!!!! ORDER NOW!!!!
Disbanded in early 2002 - lives on by it's fans and members' new bands. Miguel has his group Did I Stutter? and The Gubna is still doing his bass thing.
Here's some things people said about us back then.
This band is as tight as an 80's rocker chick's pants!
Miguel belts out power pop vocals, while eagerly supported by accomplished bassist Josh, and their slam machine Dave (whose pudding-covered baby picture on the inside cover makes me laugh so my milk and cookies shoot out in a stream through my nose).
The music shows that these boys manage to combine the elements of the finest pop rock while maintaining the backwater wash of punk's roots.
If Blondie went to the bathroom for some quick relief after a beer riddled frenzy and as she sat down heard a voice from deep within her toilet say "Hey, can't you see we're working down here!" - she would probably jump up in startled anguish only to find that Miguel and the boys were in her living room munching on her left over chicken casserole!
These boys know how to have a good time, and I'm sure you will find the same after a mere sample of their CD. The songs are impassioned, yielding to lyrics itching with a hint of regret. Love gone sour but found again.
Happy Happy Kill Kill, we will be kings and kings again. Hands Held holds the sweet spot in my heart, but almost every song on this disc is memorable ...

See this band live. Most energy I've ever seen on a club stage. Plus they cover "just what I needed", my favorite Cars song ever (peace to Ben Orr). So come to see these guys, if you find me there and mention this note, I'll smoke you out 8-)
