About Me

Gerry has been playing clubs and bars in the NY/NJ area for over 25 years. He was a founding member with Scotty Cumming, Cliff Govier and Gerry Ross of the notorious "drunk rock" band, the ALIEN SLAVES from 1980 to 1990. Gerry starting playing with "Blind" Eddie Warren back in 1990 when they started RUMOR HAZ IT which became GENERAL TSO and finally, TIMES SQUARED. After that, Eddie, Doug Gillespie and Gerry recruited Miguel Rodriguez in 2001 and Gerry's current gigging band "BAKED FRESH DAILY" was born. Gerry is the owner of The TEMPLE of TUNEAGE, a multi-track recording facility and does live sound and recording for other bands including legendary New York rockers, THE DICTATORS. In 2006 Gerry produced "The Hero Handbook" CD for the band SEXY HEROES IN TRANSIT. Gerry was recruited to play bass for the New York based band J FOR JENNIFER and has performed with them a couple of times in NYC. From 1996 to 2003, Gerry was the sales manager for Eventide, a company that makes the best effects equipment in the recording/live sound biz. During that time, Gerry met and worked with some of the best musicians, recording engineers and record producers. Spending time at "the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen" and "5150", meeting Sir George Martin @ Air Lyndhurst, were some of the highlights of his Eventide days. The friends that he made during this period of time have enriched his life in a way that can't easily be put into words.
